There is not much bass, but there is more than I expected with small speakers. I cannot believe these speakers are so inexpensive.Ĭons: The shipping cost almost as much as the speakers. The USB drivers installed automatically (Windows XP). The speakers turn on and off with the computer. No bulky, power strip hogging adapter is needed. The stereo effect and ability to produce faint sounds are excellent. They are perfect for listening to music while I work. The volume is plenty loud for normal use. Pros: These USB speakers have crystal clear sound with no buzz or hum. Over-all a decent upgrade for the dreadful netbook sound system. perhaps retractable cables? Another feature that would be nice to see would be a way to physically connect the two together for transportation. It would make packing them away in the messenger bag much easier. two thumbs up Logitech! I would have liked to have seen these speakers connected with a removable connector between them. Overall Review: These speakers were seen by and were fully functional with Ubuntu 12.04.
There are no batteries to have to charge or replace.Ĭons: The only Con I could find is that you cannot separate the two speakers from one another they are wired directly to one another, this makes it more dificult to pack them away for transport. On-the-speaker volume control is a great feature if you have a netbook, no more fumbling around with multiple keys to adjust the volume. Pros: One USB connection for both power and signal is what I was looking for, and for the price paid the sound is much better than I had expected.
